The Paramus Association has started registration for guiding tours in Żywiec and the surroundings. In the first half of September, youth aged  from 13 to 25 could learn about volunteering and awaken their passion for the tourism and the city of Żywiec. Workshop participants will have an open path to the profession of a tourist guide.

Taking part in the workshops will provide participants with the skills needed to guide tourists in Żywiec and its surroundings.
 
The organizers will ensure the discovery of unusual places, but also the acquisition of knowledge in the field of volunteering and tourism, which may be a good start in future professional career.  Volunteering in tourism is primarily an opportunity for everyone interested in the profession of "tourist, local, city guide"
 Workshops will be organized by experienced guides from the Żywiec region.
Workshop topics:
1) What is volunteering?
- basic legal aspects regarding volunteering,
- types of volunteering,
- volunteering in the field of tourism.
2) What is the job of a tourist guide?
- documents authorizing you to work in the GUIDE profession,
- forms of work of tourist guides,
- discussion of the publication "I guide in Żywiec and the surroundings",
- basic rules applicable to guides.
